LEARN TO KNIT – BEGINNER BASICS
WEDNESDAYS 7-9 pm 4/16 & 4/23 or 5/14 & 5/21
(2 sessions w/Shellye)
Learn the fundamentals of knitting, and gain the experience and
confidence you’ll need to successfully tackle your first knitting
project.
Level: absolute beginners and long-lost knitters looking to brush up on the basics.
$30, plus supplies, pre-registration required
LEARN TO KNIT – YOUR FIRST SWEATER
THURSDAYS 7-9 pm
(6 sessions w/Anne)
Ready for a new knitting challenge beyond scarves and baby blankets?
Learn how to read a pattern, shape, and sew together a baby sweater.
Level: advanced beginner – competent with knit/purl, cast on and bind off.
$70, plus supplies, pre-registration required
LACE BASICS
TUESDAYS 7-9 pm 4/22 & 4/29
(2 sessions w/Zoa)
Learn the basics of knitting lace. Knit a simple lace scarf in a
fine to medium weight yarn. Choose from 3 styles to suit your
taste and ability (Fiber Trends AC-23). Learn yarn overs,
slanting increases and decreases, and how to read a chart.
Level: advanced beginner - competent with knit/purl, cast on and bind off.
$30, plus supplies, pre-registration required
COLOR & DESIGN with BRANDON MABLY!
May 6 and 7 (2-day workshop), 10 am – 4 pm
Enjoy two full days of creative knitting with Brandon Mably of the
Kaffe Fassett Design Studio. This is perfect for knitters
interested in sharpening their color observation in design
skills.
Level: intermediate – competent with knit/purl and eager to add color.
$125 (includes lunch), plus supplies, pre-registration required
SOCK BASICS
SUNDAY 1-5 pm 5/18
(One 4-hour session w/Anne)
Learn the basics of sock knitting with a baby sock. This is a
great opportunity to learn how to knit in the round and improve your
knitting skills.
Level: advanced beginner – competent with knit/purl, cast on and bind off
$40, plus supplies, pre-registration required
CROCHET for KNITTERS
SUNDAY 1-5 pm 6/8
(One 4-hour session w/Anne)
Learn the basics of crochet and the stitches/tricks most helpful for knitters.
$40, plus supplies, some preparation beforehand, pre-registration required
FINISHING SKILLS
SUNDAY 1-5 pm 6/22
(One 4-hour Session w/Anne)
It’s not finished until it’s finished! This class
teaches the skills you’ll need to successfully finish your
knitting project including blocking, seaming, picking up stitches, and
weaving those pesky ends in.
Level: advanced beginner – competent with knit/purl, cast on and bind off
$40, plus supplies, homework beforehand, pre-registration required
OPEN KNIT NIGHT
The first WEDNESDAY of each Month 7-9 pm
Devote an evening to knitting with fellow knitters.

PRIVATE LESSONS
We have referrals for teachers offering individual knitting
lessons. The costs vary and you make the arrangements. Just
ask for their names and contact information.
