Andrea Mowry is known for her use of texture and color. She's also known for her knit-along projects, built with warmth and generous community spirit, like the annual \"Rhinebeck Sweater KAL\" which we come to expect from her as an exciting new sweater challenge each year. This year, she doesn't disappoint with the Antipodes (pronounced an-TIH-puh-deez) sweater. A fine knit sweater, using fingering weight and a light sport (or fingering) for the contrast color, the Antipodes immediately had us running around the store playing with color combinations and imagining finished sweaters.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe Antipodes KAL starts on August 19 so we can all have a sweet and beautiful fall sweater finished in time for the first days of cooler weather. Our Antipodes Sweater knit-along cruise director will be Erin Laser, our official Andrea Mowry and Spincycle Yarns fan girl.
