We're based in Los Altos, in the heart of the Peninsula, and what we've built here is equal parts yarn shop and gathering place. The long table by the window is where our community lives : classes almost every day, social knitting twice a week, and the kind of friendships that start over a colorway decision and end up meaning a lot more. People move to the area and find their people here. That's not an accident. It's the point. Everyone is welcome at this table - the more the merrier, and the more varied, the better.
Our team are knitters, crocheters, and makers who lead with curiosity rather than answers. They'll ask what you're making, who it's for, and how you want to feel wearing it before they point you toward a single skein. They'll celebrate your finished projects, help you rescue the ones that have gone sideways, and occasionally make you laugh while doing it. If we don't have exactly what you need, we'll help you find it. Your success and your enjoyment are the only measures that matter to us.
Owner Stephanie has spent decades developing a specific, unhurried aesthetic - California ease with European craft sensibility, quality that outlasts trends, style that's confident without trying too hard. She leads with curiosity, buys with intention, and genuinely loves what she does. Every buying decision runs through that filter. When something arrives on our shelves, it's because it earned its place.
