Some of us got a little preoccupied this winter, and February came and went without our usual "Finish It" even crossing our minds...

No matter - welcome to MAKE IT MARCH!

We love to celebrate your finished projects, so twice a year we motivate you to wrap up any lingering WIPs so you can cast on something new with a clear conscience - and enjoy wearing (or gifting) your hard work. Each project* you finish before March 31 earns an entry into our prize drawing, and the grand prize is a $100 gift certificate to Uncommon Threads!

We're delighted to partner with Longmont Yarn Shoppe to bring you fascinating guests from all over the world to talk about anything related to fiber! Registration for each virtual event is through www.longmontyarn.com and when you choose Uncommon Threads as your LYS, a portion of the $20 registration fee comes back to us. Many of the events are recorded and available after the live event is over, so even if you can't make it live you can still enjoy the presentation!

Join designer Summer Lee as she talks all about her new book, The Sock Project. Summer will be showing us patterns from the book, and sharing her process for writing and developing the book concept. She’ll also be talking (very enthusiastically!) about why sock knitting is magic. From gaining new skills that you can apply to larger projects, to building confidence in color palette selection, sock knitting truly is a wonderful foundation from which you can build and expand your knitting prowess! Summer will share tips & tricks, and do a little demo focusing on colorwork – one thing that trips many of us up with socks!

We do our best to help you any time you come with project challenges–if you need more focused attention, or want to be sure someone will be available to help, the Drop-in sessions are for you! We’ve recently added more help times, and limited the participants to 4 people to make sure you get the attention you need.
