Refund policy

We offer a generous 90-day window to return yarn that is in its original condition, unwound and free of odor, for store credit only. Clearance yarn is final sale and cannot be returned.

Several types of items are exempt from being returned. Knitting needles, crochet hooks and any type of printed or digital media such as books, magazines, and patterns are final sale.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. You will receive store credit in the amount you paid for the item.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. Bring your return to the store, or ship it at your expense to:

Depending on where you’re located, it may take several days for the package to arrive at Uncommon Threads.

Refunds

We may issue a refund or replacement if an item is defective. Normal wear and tear or accidental mishap are not product defects and not eligible for return. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. It may take several days for the credit to appear on your statement.

Sale items 

Discounted items may be returned (subject to the criteria above) for store credit in the amount paid. Clearance items may not be returned. 

Gifts

If you’d like to return or exchange an item received as a gift, please include the gift receipt or the name of the purchaser with your return. The same conditions apply for gift returns as for regular returns as described above.
