2nd Annual Bay Area Yarn Crawl

We're so excited to participate in the 2025 Bay Area Yarn Crawl! We'll have special yarns in-store, designer events and workshops, plus prizes for you to enjoy every day of the crawl!

Featured Yarns

We're thrilled to welcome back Playful Day Yarns and feature three amazing yarn bases:
Yak Fingering (which sold out in the blink of an eye last year)
Funfetti DK
Merino Superwash DK

We're also restocking scrumptious fibers from local Valhalla Yarns:
Frances (new colors, very similar to their sport-weight Colored Marled base)
James & Annie Blue Haze, Cloud and Heather
Ambrosia

These yarns will be available in-store only during the crawl - you are welcome to call us to place your order if you aren't crawling this year.

And even more new yarn!

Many new arrivals for spring are landing just in time for the Crawl, including:

LAMANA Roma, a dreamy cashmere/silk DK

La Bien Aimée Big Kumo and Confetti
New Rowan Cotton Trio and new colors of Summerlite DK, Summerlite 4ply and Softyak

BETTER FITTING KNITTING with Amy Snell (in-person)
Monday, March 24 • 10 am - 1 pm

Better Fitting Knitting
How can you ensure that the new yarn you've got is going to turn into a sweater that you'll love?

Learn what the knitting pros know that you don't about sweater size and fit. In this class Amy will dive into the knitty-gritty of why your sweaters so often don't fit, and provide the knowledge and tools that will allow you to make sure your next sweater fits the way you want it to.

Cost: $85. Register online

LADDER-BACK JACQUARD with Amy Snell (in-person)
Monday, March 24 • 2:30 - 5:30 pm

Easy, seamless, and beautiful, the ladderback jacquard technique will improve the tension of your stranded knitting while allowing you to span much larger areas between stitches. This knitting method adds stretch to your floats while preventing the alternate color from peeking through, and can be applied to nearly any stranded knitting project.

Once you add this technique to your knitting toolbox, you may never want to go back to any other method of carrying floats.
Cost: $85. Register online.
