Do experiences in life transform us as human beings? Places where we live; conversations with people we meet; traveling to other countries; attending special events. What transforms and informs a craftsperson?

A Knitting Life - TOKYO TVERSTED is the last book in the trilogy in which Marianne Isager reveals her knitting life through five decades.

In 2001, Marianne Isager met her husband, who at that time lived and worked in Tokyo. During the following 15 years, they both commuted between Japan and Denmark and for Marianne is also became an important source of inspiration. Japanese art, fashion and craft were not new to her, but her longer stays in Japan offered the opportunity to make new friendships as well as new work. This book contains 16 new designs inspired by Japan and photographed in Kiyosumi Garden, located in the area where Marianne and her husband lived during the final years of their time in Tokyo.
